NOM...nom nom

A part of me wants to think the National Organization for Marriage (NOM) is just some sham group created by some renegade gay rights group with the goal of undermining the anti-marriage equality forces.  The other part of me thinks that the right wing fundies are actually dumb enough to come up with this stuff.  Let's consider the evidence.

  1. The group's acronym is NOM.  Consult your friendly Urban Dictionary.
  2. They are a "rainbow coalition of people" coming to protect marriage.
  3. Just today they launched a new initiative called 2 Million for Marriage a/k/a 2 M4M - seriously.

It just gets better and better.  Following the NOM ad, the audition outtakes were released, some of which can be seen here (at least until NOM claims copyright violations - no wonder they don't want this getting out on the net!)  Here is Rachel Maddow's take (starts at about 2 mins)...I love this lady!
